Fans of national teams who will play in Donetsk will be amazed to have more information about the town.

There’re no no-stop flights to Donetsk from Munich or other big airports. This article is prepared in October 2011 and the state will probably be different by May of next year.

Presently you’ll have to arrive to Kyiv Borispil first. There’re three internal flights from Kiev Borispil Airportto Donetsk every day, but there shold be more duringEuro2012.

An alternative to get to Donetsk is to go by bus from Kiev airport. The trip will last about 7 hours. No reason to mention the price as it will raise during 2012 Euro Cup, but is’t around 18 euros at this moment.

And finally you can come to Kyiv which is at 40min. from Kyiv Borispil. You can get there by bus (3 Euros in October 2011) or by taxi (25 euros in October 2011)
There’re about 9 trains every day from Kyiv city to Donetsk, the rate is nearly19 euros and will be probably the same in June 2012.
There’s no possibility to buy a train ticket online for now.

As for accommodation, you will have problems with rooms in Donetsk hotels, but you’ll have another chance to sojourn in Donetsk and almost no foreing tourists know about it. Furnished apartments Donetsk for short term are much cheaper then hotel rooms, but the price is set by apartment and not per person. Even if apartments owners start to take money per person it will be mush cheaper. Another advantage, you’ll have furnished kitchen in any flat in Donetsk, so you don’t spent money for restaurants.
